There is no limit to the ways in which artificial intelligence can be beneficial in healthcare. For instance, AI is already in use scheduling remote follow-up appointments, sending reminders to fill prescriptions or take a daily medicine dosage, facilitating real-time disease counseling, and identifying early symptoms of more serious issues. From the perspective of healthcare professionals, AI helps collect patient information (such as medical history) and can connect and organize electronic medical records. In the future, AI technology will help clinicians make more accurate diagnoses and more successfully predict patient outcomes. AI can help a doctor make a more specialized, more personal medical plan for each patient.
