Our Mission

AIandYou aims to educate marginalized communities about the benefits, challenges, and risks of artificial intelligence. We offer easy-to-understand, free online content, and community AI events to decrease fear and help people prepare for the changes created with AI.

About AIandYou

Based in the Bay Area, AIandYou is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded by Susan Gonzales in 2019. Susan launched the organization when she identified the chasm between the AI ecosystem and marginalized communities. AIandYou aims to help people understand with easy-to-understand information about AI online and through community conversations and events with policymakers.

Susan Gonzales, CEO, brings years of experience in technology, community outreach, and policy to AIandYou. She serves on the National AI Advisory Committee advising President Biden and the Administration on the National AI Initiative, and is on the board of EqualAI. She co-authored "A Blueprint for Equity and Inclusion in AI," released by the World Economic Forum in 2022. Susan serves on the Boards of EqualAI, LeanIn.org, and the Eva Longoria Foundation.
