Our Story

Our Mission

AIandYou encourages AI Literacy, a basic understanding of AI and its impact on workers, educators, students, small businesses, and others. We aim to prepare marginalized communities for AI benefits, risks, and opportunities.

Only 15% of Black and 23% of Hispanic Americans have a high level of awareness of AI in their daily lives (compared to 34% and 40% of White and Asian Americans). And while 26% of men have heard a lot about Generative AI, only 11% of women share the same level of knowledge. (NAIAC and Pew Research)

What We Do

We demystify new technologies by helping people understand how they engage with AI in a way that is easy to understand. We take a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly of AI, including how it influences online safety, education, elections, health, housing, jobs, finances, and more.
