About AIandYou
Based in the Bay Area, AIandYou is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded by Susan Gonzales in 2019. Susan launched the organization when she identified the chasm between the AI ecosystem and marginalized communities. AIandYou aims to help people understand AI through simple online learning resources, webinars, community outreach and special events with policymakers.
Leadership
Susan Gonzales, CEO, brings years of experience in technology, community outreach, and policy to AIandYou. She serves on the National AI Advisory Committee advising President Biden and the Administration on the National AI Initiative, and she is on the board of EqualAI. She co-authored
"A Blueprint for Equity and Inclusion in AI", released by the World Economic Forum in 2022.
Susan created AIandYou to educate marginalized communities about artificial intelligence and new technologies to level the playing field for those often left behind. Susan brings a unique perspective from Washington, D.C. policy and Silicon Valley to this work.
