Mission Statement

Who We Are

Artificial intelligence isn’t a far-away technology on the horizon: it’s here today. But marginalized communities - especially communities of color - aren't prepared for the impact or the opportunities that AI poses.

AIandYou is a nonprofit on a mission to engage and educate marginalized communities about AI, and equip them with the knowledge and tools to take action.

We provide online resources to help communities understand more about the rapid advancements of AI impacting their lives and livelihoods. We're preparing underrepresented communities for artificial intelligence.

What We Do

Demystify AI. We help people understand how they engage with AI every day, address fears about AI, and educate them about how AI is evolving.

Tackle bias. We shed light on bias in AI development and how more inclusive, ethical, and accountable AI can be a powerful tool for a more equitable future.

Prepare our communities. We educate about everything AI touches, including education, criminal justice, health, housing, labor, medicine, and technology.

Inspire action. We collaborate with community leaders and allies to utilize AI to improve the lives, health, and economic growth of underrepresented communities.
