Advances in artificial intelligence are paving the way for teamwork in the workplace between humans and machines in order to solve tough problems. A team of researches is aiming to develop AI systems that can sense when a person's fatigue is interfering with their performance and, following that, make suggestions, take over for them, or do whatever it is programmed to do to avoid harm. Good help is hard to find. Not so much for a robot.
